Verdi felt his cheeks grow warm, and he coughed a little. "Well. Yes. I mean. Like I said, it... takes time for me to like someone, and I have known Monte for some time... we did a lot of missions together. He got me interested in going to Te'Kaal... I didn't even know I could be into anyone until... it happened with Monte."

"We were in the hunters guild back on Aegise- he didn't well.. bring me, he told me about Te'Kaal and that he had interest in going. It... kinda got into my head, and I wanted to go, too."

She bumped her hip affectionately against Verdi's.

Verdi got bumped, and it threw his balance off just a little. "Oh- well- I'm sure he'd like that." He smiled, giving a small chuckle.
"I didn't come to Te'Kaal for romance, and yet..."
