"The primary reason for lead is convenience. The low melting point means you can forge bullets on the road. High density means it packs a punch, but also it's easy to get and work with as well." Sae said with a nod. "And rock salt is definitely an idea worth thinking about- it would be nice to have a non-lethal option, given the amount of time we've had to invade throne rooms and not wanted to kill all the guards. Which is a weird thing to have happened twice."
"I've heard of silver being used against certain types of monsters, but that was more common for gunslingers who were planning to serve in places like Gilneas."

He nodded, thumbing his chin as he thought things over. "Silvered bullets... Harder to recover than silvered arrows, but they could pack enough wallop to make it worth the sacrifice. It should be fairly trivial to make bullets- though pellets might be a little trickier... "
He began exploring the space. "I've seen engraved specialty arrows that punch through armor better. Customizing bullets beyond just silvering would be- well, it will take fine, fine work, but it's not outside of the realm of possibility. They certainly wouldn't be as quick to produce than their mundane counterparts, but even a versatile tool belt needs only one or two hammers..." He folded his arms and turned back to her, though his focus was off of her face while he puzzled a few preliminary ideas. After some time muttering and spit balling with himself, he looked up to her.
"I'll need you to run me through the basics of the casting process, but I think it might be possible to make some prototypes before we, y'know, go off to attack and dethrone a god."

Sae gave him a wide grin and a nod, moving to start holstering her gun collection. "Oh, I wouldn't bother with silver bullets here- just an example of how ammunition is easier to modify and specialize than guns." She said, watching him start to spin and think.
"Let's go cast some bullets."
