A big blurp came from near Taliesin as he rose his head above the water and laughed again. "I think Alain just prefers the baked in smell of dirt and yams that he has." He said in a very clear joking tone.

"I actually don't think there's any problem with that," Jaeger chimed in after pulling his mouth to just above the water level. "If we treat these times as being in a pool rather than a bath, then the idea of wearing loincloths, sheets, or flowing clothes makes more sense. I've been to one public bath where that was an option in a sectioned-off area. A curiosity at the time, but..."
He shrugged and sank once more.

Alastair glanced between his friends as suggestions and speculation unfolded. He shrugged, sloshing the water some. "Different folks have different comfort levels. And hang-ups. For sure I know I have mine."
He looked back upward, frowning. "...I don't think Alain -can- let up on his. He's... I don't know. Broken, I guess."
He shifted in the water some before sighing. "I used to hate him... But after meeting him I just feel bad."
He shook his head. "It's going to be a long time before he opts out of dust and yam robes. We should focus our efforts on breaking in the new crew first."

Taliesin smirked and chimed up. "To be fair, some of us aren't exactly defenseless nude."
"And that isn't even counting magic wielding." He flicked his hand cause an orb to form in air that then dissipated.
