That was heart warming, and knowing her for so long, made it felt right when she said it. His tail swayed, and he couldn't help but chuckle.

Verdi blinked some, finding himself more adventurous than what he initially did. Guess being a Black Gaurd really changed things.
"You... Don't think things are going too fast do you? Because I've known you for so long I just... Getting feelings so late in knowing each other... I... Don't know if I'm doing anything... Wrong? Or is it even too soon to think about that..?"

"Liches...?" Vanya murmured, before focusing on Verdi's question. "Oh... oh. I... don't really know." Vanya flashed a brief smile and looked down at the ground. "I'm not sure how this kind of thing is suppose to go. Naturally, I mean. I think knowing each other for so long helps, though...'
She glanced over her shoulder at the others and back at Verdi. "If anything starts to feel uncomfortable, we just... slow down. Yes?"

Verdi shook their head some, shaking the thoughts from his mind and shrugged. "We should make camp. I can tell you more about the ziggurat before we rest."
