Pheuse gave a wave from his position atop Chev when Porter made introductions. Floating in front of him still was the golden sensory mask. If advanced word had been sent of their arrival that would likely be enough confirmation of identity.

Neuks smiled and waved a little at Anthony when Porter mentioned her.

Anthony greeted them in kind with a polite bow, with Kate and Maggie behind him, each giving a curtsy. He rose. "Of course- This House is open to all guests of Mr. Litwick."
With no small amount of surprise he took the gift- an alpaca made of chocolate and spun sugar. The tiniest glint of delight showed in his eyes, the corner of his mouth tilting the tiniest amount- which of course was practically beaming for a butler of his training.
"What a delightful gift. Our appreciation to you, Mistress." He said, inclining his head to Neuks. "We are, of course, at your service. Whatever you may require, we are happy to oblige."

"A private room," Ellie interjected, leaning to the side so she could be seen behind Neuks. "Some place we could discuss sensitive matters and... personal projects. And snacks. Baked goods, if you have them. Tea?"
...We just had something at-
I eat when I'm nervous, leave me alone!

"Splended, thank you," Porter said, clasping their hands in front of them in a satisfied gesture. "As Mistress Ellie suggests," using the segue as a way to introduce her as well, "a private room would be most welcome, if one is available." Leaning forward almost a bit conspiratorially, they add "I believe she is particularly partial to muffins."
"Ah, yes, of course," Porter says as they recall one other possible need, raising a finger as it occurs to them, "perhaps Mistress Neuksoeye could also be provided access to the workshop, if required, so that she can see to her companion?"

Pheuse awaited the door to be opened in order to proceed and follow in to the private room. Most of his concentration focused on keeping the sensory mask floating at a point just in front of himself. Logistics was Porter's wheelhouse, while this should be his.

Neuks beamed when Anthony thanked her for the gift, then patted Chev's head when Porter mentioned him. All the possibilities of what a real workshop could provide! So many upgrades...

Anthony bowed deeply. "Might I recommend the workshop downstairs? It is both private, and fully furnished. There is even a small seating area that could be used for informal entertaining." With a motion, he would lead the way further into the house.
The door to the basement was heavy, with a thick lock on the inside of it- House Cannith took intellectual property very seriously. But, the basement was light and airy, with an elevated seating area and a step down to the large, well equipped workshop.

Ellie inspected the door before heading down into the workshop. She looked around and began to move along the edges of the workshop, checking to make sure there weren't any conventional ways to eavesdrop (Investigation: 17). She assumed not, this being House Cannith, but Tobias' paranoia was infectious.
Once the door was closed, everyone was settled, and she had satisfied herself, she turned to walk over to the others.
"...That was my sister," she said slowly. "She is not Brynna or Ket's friend, although that was due to a... misunderstanding. I'd like to bring her back to Sharn with me, but seeing as how we're all more or less connected at the hip right now, I knew I'd need to get some insight before I tell her anything. My thought was to have her borrow Vaunn's face for a while, since Vaunn was seen in our presence and it wouldn't be suspicious for him to continue to be around. So... thoughts?"

Porter followed into the basement and surveyed the area, as well. They were, however, looking for other things. A workbench with the right looking general assortment of tools would do, and though they'd not been around Pheuse for long enough to be certain, they found one that seemed suitable. As Ellie spoke, they set the pack next to the table and gathered a few stools. One for them, near the table to give Pheuse easier access to their face from the table, and the others in a rough approximation of a gallery for anyone wanting to observe. Once done they open the pack and start laying Pheuse's personal tools across the bench, carefully placing them from memory where he prefers them while looking back to Ellie from time to time, listening. Picking a set of spanners from the pack, they stand and turn back to her.
"I presume you had been estranged, then? You must be relieved to have reconnected." There was definitely a note of confusion as they tried to piece that together with their hostility, but it seemed to fit well enough with other parts that they sounded very sympathetic. "Of course family is important. Apologies, Mistress Ellie, if this is blunt, but do you believe she will not harbor animosity after what happened? The misunderstanding you mention gives rise to some questions, as well." They didn't mention what Ket said about the unit being betrayed, but their concern was apparent.

Pheuse urged Chev to follow close behind Porter. Once close enough to the workspace that Porter chose he simply floated up and over. There were some questions he possibly could have, but none were too pressing at the moment. He smirked and looked over to Ellie.
"So ... you don't want me hitting on your sister then?" His smirk grew. It was not even referenced, but it was a mild distraction. "I'm intrigued. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to acquire new clothes for her yet. A lot of the stores were knick knacks and snacks on the way here."
He took one of the smaller spanners from Porter and went to work on twisting the near invisible plate latches at the back of the face mask. "As long as she isn't a killer and harbors no ill will to us after your transgressions I am fine with having her in our group. And Vaunn ... well ... that might be a bit of an ask. He was grabbed by House Cannith people immediately upon arrival. I do not know if the staff here would have run into Vaunn or been advised to watch for him just in case."

Neuks set her things down and took one of the stools for herself. After Pheuse left Chev, the skele-deer came over to lay down on the floor beside her. She watched Ellie as she spoke about her sister, then crossed her arms loosely as she thought. "I'm sure House Cannith would provide guides or whatnot for Pheuse and Porter while they're here... but maybe your sister could be a guide or something you or I hired, Ellie, waiting for us here in Flamekeep before we met Pheuse and Porter. Because the contract is already paid, lets say, we decided to keep her on, especially in case our paths go separate ways."

Ellie winced at Pheuse's words, but the exact part that caused her to wince was not immediately relevant.
"'Estranged' is one way to put it, Porter. We both thought the other has been dead for over a decade. I thought... I thought someone was playing a game with me when I saw the signs, so I... over-reacted."
She waved her hands before her as though to banish further questions. "Regardless - that idea could work, Neuks, but it would be even better if she had a pre-established identity to fall back on, especially one that would accompany us back to Sharn. The thing with Ket and Brynna is... kind of one-sided, and not her fault, but... I just want to get her to the city safely. There's a community for us there, and I... don't want to lose her again...
"So! Ideas. I'm open to ideas. Ideas?"

It only took a few moments for Porter to finish laying out the tools on the the table before them. Satisfied, they took a seat on the stool adjacent to the table, paused, and lowered it a bit before sitting in it again. They had to sit a bit lower than they normally would, but Pheuse would have easier access to their head this way.
They regarded Ellie for a moment from their seat, clearly tilting their head slightly as Ellie mentions again the disagreement and potential danger to her sister -- the closest thing they had to a questioning expression. "It seems we must do our best to bring her safely there, then. I certainly do not wish to come into conflict with Brynna given my own history, but hopefully we can avoid this." They stated their own conflict somewhat dismissively, almost waving it away. "I know a number of lesser functionaries and staff that would be unobtrusive enough -- of course I'd happily instruct in the role if needed -- but I'm uncertain what reason we might have for having one accompanying us. Would it not be safer for her to travel on the same train, but separately, to avoid such scrutiny?"

Pheuse focused in and floated along with Porter in his final moments to a resting place. He was silent for the short period it took him to release the facial covering. "You sure do overthink a lot." He mused at Ellie as he took hold of Porter's superficial mask and removed it, blinding him while it was removed.
He floated down to the worktop and flipped the facial covering over. "She could simply be a new bodyguard that I hire to protect myself for the trip back. She doesn't need a preexisting Cannith face." He started into the careful work of removing the sensory mask. "Though if her faces are not conducive to the trip, I could offer her an identity from a former life ... but I would require the use of the ring around her neck to show her - if it is what I believe it to be."
He had not looked up from the mask since he started. There were several mounting points for the sensory mask he had to release, but he had already undone enough that one of the severed sections fell loose. He tried to stay in a position that afforded Neuks view of what he was doing.
