"That is fair. Refrain from being a willing participant until you've determined which side you fall on, or if you fall on neither. Of course ... Telemon has a very large ask to see you safely from all of this." There was a moment of pause as he considered his next statement.
"Do you mean to ask whether we will be departing from Telemon and others after getting him back to his castle? Or if we intend to try and take his castle?" He turned his head and looked at her as he awaited her clarification.

"If you intent to try and take his castle. I expect you'll make a decision regarding leaving once you've accomplished your business."

Taliesin furrowed his brows and shook his head. Her reply suggested the take version.
"We do not take ... If Telemon offered us to travel in his castle to our next points, and his castle could move quick enough to cover the same area we could in a day ... maybe we would stay - at his behest." He had to look away from her as he shook his head again.
"Though if his Castle is slower ... or if it is obvious in the sky without camouflage ... then it would not really help for what we are hoping to accomplish."
"Though I must admit, it would be nice to spend time in a floating castle as honored guests and allies." He turned to look back to Mirrai and his tone shifted as did his expression. There was curiosity and a hint of something else as he asked. "Are you hoping that we would stay ... assuming that his castle could meet our needs and he was feeling up to offering?"

"No, I meant take it back for him, not take it from him," Mirrai clarified with a faint laugh. "I'm not sure what to think, if you believe I was asking if you intend to steal it from him. For what it's worth, you do not strike me as the kind of person that would steal from a giant. At least, not one like Telemon."

Taliesin chuckled and responded. "Retake ... the word is retake."
He looked around at his party in general and then back again. "Unless something happens to change our plans, we will be in that area handling another item. Our group doesn't usually need much convincing to go slightly off-course if it makes sense. And keeping the other side from have a literal flying fortress Seems to be a wise decision. But we would need to discuss it when it comes time."
He shrugged. Honestly he figured it would take little to no convincing to get the whole group in on it. But he wasn't about to talk for everyone. "Our last encounter with a giant was a Stone Giant convinced of his own godhood that ... wasn't pleasant. Telemon is vastly different and seems amenable to our group."

"Mm... Telemon is a kind soul, and a courteous host. Capable of... astonishing violence when necessary, apparently... but he did not strike me as one who preferred it. I feel as though that has something to do with his kind, but I can't... recall correctly." She made a face and then sighed.
"It's sure to make quite a scene, if you do manage to retake his home. It is not a very... subtle... structure."

Taliesin shrugged once more. "Well, to hold someoe of his size and still be called a castle ... if it were subtle I would be surprised."
Cu'Chu chittered. "I would hope that at least from below it would be disguised. Otherwise his kind would be easy to see coming.``

"Telemon would be the one to know more about that kind of thing," Mirrai observed. "Have you heard or seen of any flying castles? How common are they?"

"Depends on how you describe flying. If you just use is off the ground as a validation point, then yes. If not no." He reached up and scritched Cu'Chu's cheek again.
"The Dwarven city at the center of the Dragonfangs has a castle and pretty much all of the constructions there are floating over a dormant volcano, including the castle."

"The dwarves? A floating city? That sounds wondrous indeed... but they aren't giants," Mirrai pointed out. "The giants were here before us. They're almost as old as the dragons."
Mirrai paused and frowned. "I can remember that, when so much is a blurr. That is... vexing."

"Indeed they are not." He smirked at the idea of a dwarf squaring off against a Giant.
"That is troubling. But it seems that all of your memories that are impacted center on who you are rather than what you've learned. So areas that might connect with your life outside of your education might be the only gray areas."
He pursed his lips in thought. "What are the continents of Mobius? Are there any cities from your education that are the height of a specific service, trade, or knowledge?" He wanted to poke and see if she was able to list all but one. Though the city question was a bit out there.

Mirrai considered. "The continents? Samaran, Nordyna... I suppose Avony, Mazuri, and Chuniin are considered separate, although they're all part of the same landmass. Cities..."
She squinted, and looked to be having a harder time remembering. "Albion, in Mercia. That's the oldest city in the world. The dwarves... they had a massive city underground, in the heart of Samaran. And Valoris, the City of Splendor. I... the city names are hard to remember as well. Specific locations are... blurry."

Taliesin was completely silent after she completed. She referenced the First City, so 100% before Days of Fury or maybe just at the beginning and not knowing.
He was running the names she said against the names he knew ... cross checking everything that should be and wasn't. As he opened his mouth it was clear he was taking care to try using the names Mirrai spoke, rather than the names that would seem to match.
"So ... Mazuri ... Do you recall if it spanned all the way from ... Avony to beyond ... Chuniin?"

"Like I said they were connected. Like... well, I can't... I know Mazuri was in the... south?"
Mirrai let out a huff and looked at Taliesin. "Is this making any sense or do I sound like a madwoman?"

Taliesin looked back into her eyes calmly and gently place a hand atop hers. "Wait-please ..." He lifted his hand and started to weave vine atop the rock. His focus was to approximate the map he knows. Or at least to approximate the continental alignment and size for the masses in question without Corinthia included.
"You sound like someone who wants to remember and who might feel like others would think this an act or a delusion." He looked up from the work he was doing. "I believe you. Though my questions may seem to test your sanity, they are to try and make sense of what I know and what I suspect."
He moved to a new area and grew magical vines again, this time approximating Mazuri to span and include Corinthia. He chuckled and shook his head. "This kind of thing is usually more Alastair's wheelhouse, but, honestly this is out there for him too." As he completed the second weaving he simply pointed to spots on the approximated map that he is more familiar with. "Avony - Chuniin - Mazuri." He repeated the same with the much larger mass that brought Corinthia into the same landmass. "Which of these ... maps ... looks correct?"
